MASSAGE THERAPY

In business for 30 years, Delina is educated and experienced with references from long-standing, satisfied clients with a variety of a backgrounds, activity levels, and chronic pain relief needs.

Have you ever been disappointed after paying good money to get a massage, hoping that you’d feel relief from pain only to get a glorified lotion rub? Or, do you wish when you’re on the therapy table that the therapist could just sink a little deeper into those aching muscles?

Delina is a martial artist, teacher, and healer. Her massage therapy comes from the Japanese and Hawaiian healing traditions of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, and clients can attest to her ability to do truly deep tissue work. She also makes her own liniments and balms and has the experience to know when to use which formula to use for your particular ache, pain, or injury.

She teaches both the traditional healing and martial arts of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, and is one of only seventeen people to train with the founder of Danzan Ryu’s grandson, Sensei Keith Okazaki in his OORM (Original Okazaki Restorative Massage) course. She also has years of experience working in Hospice care and home health, teaching in California State certified massage programs, and training with master healers, such as scholar, teacher, and healer Michael Turk L.Ac. and student of Yogi Bhajan, Yogini Rebecca Ryan. Her teacher, Professor Jane Carr, Judan (10th degree black belt, Danzan Ryu) has been her martial and healing arts sensei for over 20 years, and has been instrumental in her growth as a massage therapist. She also has training in Kinesiology, earning a degree and post-graduate certificate in Physical Education from California State University, Chico.

Come and experience bodywork from a 30 year veteran of the business who has been studying her art consistently since childhood. AND, she guarantees her work.

“I started getting massages from Delina 9 years ago, and have never been able to go to anyone else since then!” – Erica Tarabini

“I am active and have a stressful job. I seek out Delina Fuchs regularly for her therapeutic massage. Her deep tissue work restores my mobility and releases my tension. She delivers the right amount of pressure to my sore muscles promoting comfort while working to reduce the inflammation. Delina works on areas that other massage therapists were not able to address. Her willingness to personalize the session for me and her attention to detail, set her apart from other therapists. In addition, her technique and exacting post-massage instructions prevent the soreness that I have encountered with other deep tissue therapists.” – Heather Barber, Pharmacist and Trail Runner

“Delina has been my massage therapist for over 20 years. Initially I came to her to relieve pain from motorcycle injuries. I have had her treat my aches and pains on a weekly basis ever since. I would recommend her massage therapy to anyone seeking pain relief for their sore or injured muscles.” – Byron P., Physically Active Ambulance Company Owner and long-time EMT
